Few people have the style and beauty influence that Solange has. Rivaled only by Rihanna, the youngest Knowles sister is beauty maven, a trendsetter and our primary person of interest each season that fashion week roles around. Yesterday, the style icon posted a picture on Instagram sporting her infamous disheveled-chic, airy mane and pastel lids that channeled a 70s vibe with fresh spring appeal. And—as expected— we’re obsessed.
The singer and all-around creative, painted her lids with a sea foam green hue with a bit of a metallic finish. Coupled with groomed brows, bare lashes, balmy lips and a lavender cable knit sweater the look is a little nostalgic (think: Baby Sitter’s Club meets Coachella) and it’s perfect for spring!

To copy the look, ditch the shadow primer to get more of a lived-in feel. Dust your lids with a soft, sandy hue like Estée Lauder ‘Pure Color Envy’ Defining Wet/Dry Eyeshadow ($25, at sephora.com). Press the pigment into your lids using your fingers and blend upward into the brow bone. For and an added glow add a metallic cream show to the center of your lid and the brow bone; we recommend Dolce & Gabanna Perfect ‘Mono Matte’ Cream Eye Color in Royal ($37, at nordstrom.com). Set the look with a quick spritz of your favorite setting spray and you’re good to go!
