The 11-song soundtrack, out July 31st, features songs by Houston, Jordin Sparks, Cee-Lo and Goapele. We already know to expect stellar vocals from Sparks and the like, but who knew actresses Tika Sumpter and Carmen Ejogo could blow? Ejogo takes the lead in the soulful “Yes I Do” while Sumpter lends her vocals on “Hooked” “Jump” and the Aretha Franklin remake, “Something He Can Feel.” The soundtrack was one of Houston’s last recording before her untimely death on February 11.
