Keke Palmer’s securing another bag y’all.
Palmer is close to finalizing a deal to become the third co-host alongside Michael Strahan and Sara Haines on ABC’s hourlong daytime talk show Strahan and Sara, according to Page Six.
This will be the latest rebrand for the talk show, which launched last September as GMA Day but was later changed to Strahan and Sara in January.
According to Deadline, “Palmer has demonstrated chemistry in multiple appearances with the two current hosts of Strahan and Sara. Bringing the 25-year-old aboard could widen the appeal of the show and potentially catch the interest of younger viewers.”
Palmer has already tackled a wide array of topics on the show, such as interviewing actress Bella Thorne, who detailed her tricky relationship with her mother.
However the actress, who most recently guest starred on Fox’s Star for two seasons, isn’t new to the talk show game. A few years ago she made history as the youngest talk show host of the short lived series, Just Keke, on BET.
Palmer, who turns 26 next month, will definitely add a breath of fresh air and a dose of #BlackGirlMagic to the daytime TV lineup. We’ll be watching.
