A Real One: SZA Has Been Giving Hurricane Relief Throughout Her Tour
SZA is doing her part.
When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas last month, the singer got into action by soliciting donations on her tour. Through social media, she let concertgoers know they can bring items that will be given to those in need.
As reported by Vibe, the Top Dawg Entertainment artist expanded her relief effort as additional hurricanes battered the gulf coast and Caribbean islands, and has called on fans to donate non-perishable foods, diapers, gloves, masks, trash bags, baby food and formula, feminine hygiene products, and more.
The 26-year-old also invited fans who brought goods to her Oct 3 concert to hang out with her backstage.
SZA’s debut studio album CTRL dropped in July. The 14-track album has features from Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad and James Fauntleroy.
