T.I.’s NSFW promotional video for his new album,Dime Trap, where he features a Melania Trump look a like, didn’t sit well with the White House. In fact, a spokesperson for the first lady is now calling on music fans to boycott the Atlanta rapper.
In the video, the faux Mrs. Trump strides into a fictional Oval Office, wearing an army green jacket emblazoned with the phrase, “I don’t care, do you?” on the back just moments after her husband leaves on Marine One. Then, the Trump double strips naked and dances for T.I. on top of the Resolute desk.
When T.I. shared the video on Twitter, he wrote as a caption, “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye.”

Although Donald Trump and Kanye West shared their bromance with the world last week during a bizarre press conference that left many scratching their heads, it doesn’t mean the first family is popular with the rest of the hip hop world.
After the video went viral, Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump’s director of communications took aim at the video on Twitter. She also asked her followers, “How is this acceptable?” along with using the hashtags, #disgusting and #boycottTI.

Grisham expounded on her thoughts to People magazine, calling T.I.’s portrayal “disrespectful.”
“Like it or not, she is the first lady and this is the White House. It’s disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics,” Grisham said in a statement. “These kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country — it needs to stop.”
It’s an interesting statement given Donald Trump’s rhetoric since taking office. Grisham might want to aim her comments at the man with the nuclear codes.
