T.I. is celebrating the life of his older sister Precious Harris, who passed after succumbing to injuries she sustained in a major car accident in Atlanta last Friday. She was 66.
The Dime Trap posted a video to his Instagram page, showing the late Harris dancing and singing along to the song “More Than A Woman” in her honor.
“Still Loving you from this life to the next sis,” he wrote in the caption for the video. “We’re all better in some way because of your life. Now it’s on to bigger and better things for you. We’ll be just fine…Because of YOU! You’re Truly More than a woman to me sis. Love you.”
Harris’ passing has had a huge impact on not only the rapper and his family, but many others in the Southern music scene. Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton, Rasheeda Frost, and others have mourned the loss of Harris on social media, revealing that she dispensed love and inspiration to everyone she met.
“I will truly miss you and your positivity,” wrote Braxton beneath a picture of the two.
“Every time she was around she made me smile. I loved her! She would always hit me up with positive words of encouragement & sending love my way,” shared Burruss.
“#RIP my Gemini twin @preciousharris1913 you will be deeply missed,” wrote Frost.
T.I.’s wife, Tiny Harris, extended a farewell message to her late sister-in-law. “Sister sister sister!!! @preciousharris1913 there will never be another like you!! You will always be MY GIRL,” she wrote.
She then shared how special her personal bond with Harris was, noting that “everybody truly loved Precious.”
Tiny added that Harris was “the person I called when I wanted to get sh-t off my chest or just here some one kick some real knowledge & wisdom about life. Glad I came & sat with you & shared my feelings & had a few laughs before [you] transition to an angel.”
“We gone celebrate you & all our great memories of u for the rest of our lives!! We miss [you] so much lady!!! Till we meet again R.I.H,” she continued.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Harris family and everyone who loved Precious Harris.
