Last week Tamar Braxton was hospitalized for a reported adverse reaction to a steroid. As noted by TMZ, swelling in her throat happened while she was in New York City but Braxton went to the hospital in Los Angeles.
Luckily, it appears her recovery was fast as she posted a photo of herself on Saturday looking alive and well. “They didn’t want to see me feeling better… so I made sure I’m feeling better,” she captioned the photo of her in a black midi dress with thigh-high boots and a Moschino belt.
On Sept 29 Braxton released Bluebird of Happiness independently through her label Tamartianland. The 40-year-old shared that this would be her last album to switch gears and focus on writing music, be a full-time mother and wife.
“At the end of the day I have to do things that make me 150 percent happy, and if there’s a part in my life where there’s always an argument or an issue, let’s just eliminate that for now,” she told Billboard.
“Tamar’s not retiring and you have not seen the last of me —this is just the beginning. Right now, Bluebird of Happiness is my happiness and this is what I wanted everybody to focus on.”
