Are we ready for Tamar Braxton starring in her own reality show?
The “Love & War” singer has graced our reality TV show screens for years with Braxton Family Values and Vince & Tamar, which she starred in with estranged husband Vincent Herbert.
But now she is ready to quarterback her own show.
“I’m definitely still shooting the Braxtons, and I have another spin-off show,” she said in a recent radio interview. “It’s not with Vince, this time. It’s Tamar and my life now and where I am now, and a lot of other great things.”
Braxton filed for divorce from her husband late last year. Many believed that the timing of the divorce announcement was strictly for ratings to promote the fifth season of the couple’s WEtv reality series, Tamar & Vince but the singer told The View earlier this year that the rumor was not true.
“I wish I could say that a lot of times I could say it was made up just so I could hide behind the truth sometimes,“ she said. ”But in this situation, I absolutely have no reason to lie about my marriage or the things that [are] happening in my marriage for ratings. I think that’s disgusting and I would never sell my soul to the devil like that. It’s not that serious. Marriage is a serious thing for me and for my family.”
The couple married in November of 2008 and welcomed their only child together, Logan, in June 2013.
There likely will be no Herbert in Braxton’s new show, but we might get a glimpse of her new love, whom she first talked about to Wendy Williams in September.
“I’ll describe him: he’s African, he’s in wealth finance, he’s got dreads and he’s got a really nice body,” host Williams
told her audience before Braxton excitedly added: “He’s fine! Hallelujah!”
