Tami Roman could be returning to reality TV.
The Blast reports that Roman has been in talks to return to Basketball Wives, the VH1 hit that follows the lives of wives, ex-wives, and girlfriends of NBA superstars.
Roman reportedly quit the show last year, having appeared on the original and the show’s spin-off Basketball Wives LA. Sources say Roman left to pursue other opportunities despite the show’s best efforts to keep her.
However, it seems producers finally made the TV personality an offer she couldn’t refuse. The new deal reportedly allows her room to explore “opportunities and projects at VH1” outside of the hit series.
Roman was once married to former NBA player Kenny Anderson. The couple have two children.
The actress and reality star also has a rocky relationship with Basketball Wives cast member Evelyn Lozada, who also had a relationship with Roman’s ex-husband. However, their issues don’t stem from Lozada’s involvement with Anderson, but from a 2013 interview.
Sources say producers are also hoping to add Byron Scott’s girlfriend, Cecilia Gutierrez, and his son’s wife Kristen Scott to the series.
Basketball Wives already stars Lozada, Jackie Christie, Jennifer Williams, and Shaunie O’Neal.
