Terrence J and his longtime girlfriend Jasmine Sanders were involved in an alleged hit-and-run Tuesday, though the facts remain vague.
According to TMZ, the Think Like a Man actor’s black McLaren sports car was completely totaled when it slammed into a tree at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Terrence J was then said to have fled the scene.
Local police confirmed they were investigating a hit-and-run accident, which is considered a crime. The $200,000 car was said to have been left with no note, nor any form of information.
Police were able to connect the one-time TV host to the car as it was registered in his name, Terrence Jenkins.
Still, according to People magazine, witnesses claimed that Sanders was behind the wheel during the accident, but Sanders’ rep says she was in no way involved.
“On behalf of our client, Jasmine Sanders, I would like to clarify that Ms. Sanders was not in the vehicle at the time of this morning’s accident and was in no way involved,” a representative said.
It is not clear if anyone was hurt.
