Wednesday, Usher paid tribute to his late stepson, Kile Glover, who passed away in 2012 following a jet-skiing accident.
“Though you’re gone you still live in my mind. The only thing we ran out of is time. Since you left I ain’t been quite the same. I wonder if you miss me, do I make you proud. Know you’re watching me, I feel your spirit. I keep you right by my side,” the singer wrote.
Glover, the son of the singer’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, died from injuries sustained during a jet-skiing accident on Georgia’s Lake Lanier. Simon Hubbard, a friend of the family, was found guilty for Glover’s death in 2014.
The singer told Oprah in 2012, “We cooked together, we laughed, we sang. He loved to sing and dance. He loved to tell jokes. I miss Kile.”
