As imaginative and creative as ideas, story plots, and production execution require of theater worthy Hollywood films, no one has thought to cast a Black woman as president – until now.
Vivica A. Fox has been casted as the first Black female president in a live-action, sci-fi feature film titled, Crossbreed.

According to THR, Crossbreed is centered around “a group of retired military war heroes who are sent to retrieve and extraterrestrial being from an illegal Medical Facility using its DNA to manufacture weapons. Fox will play the President, who was a colleague of the team leader and handpicked him to lead the retrieval mission.”
According to Mashable, a Black actress has never played POTUS in a live-action film. Though Alfre Woodard was casted as president in the TV series State of Affairs and Penny Johnson Jerald lent her voice for the president in the animated movie Justice League: Gods and Monsters, every movie that has featured a female president has cast a white actress.
The Empire actress has just broken the media glass ceiling! Way to go Vivica A. Fox!
