Vivica A. Fox wants to help the nation Face the Truth with her latest effort, a syndicated talk show slated to air on CBS.
Described as a show about conflict resolution, Face the Truth will feature guests sharing their problems with a panel of experts and getting a dose of tough love. Fox will host the talker, which will roll out to 10 CBS-owned stations this fall, along with outlets operated by Cox, Hearst, Weigel and Meredith.
Jay McGraw, one of the show’s producers, called it “a fresh addition” to TV.
“Face the Truth is a fresh addition to the television landscape,” McGraw said. “We have an incredibly talented cast with strong opinions who deliver a show that is entertaining, informative and highly watchable.”
Paul Franklin, CBS’ TV Distribution president, echoed McGraw’s excitement about the show.
“We’re excited to bring Face the Truth to our client stations across the country this fall,” he said. “It’s a great fit for their daytime lineups, and Jay and his team have a stellar track record of producing successful shows.”
Fox shared her enthusiasm about the show on Twitter.
“BOOM! ANOTHER ONE!,” she wrote. “I’m soo excited about my new CBS talk show!”
“It’s about to go down!! Time for that NEW #FaceTheTruth SQUAD to keep it 100,” she added. “The Truth served straight up with no chaser!”
We can’t wait.
