Watch Beyoncé Sing Happy Birthday At Her Mom's Surprise 65th Birthday Party

Tina Knowles Lawson is living her best life with the help of her loving husband. Richard Lawson surprised her with a star studded 65th birthday party in Los Angeles last weekend. The celebration began with Lawson sending her and some friends on a spa trip. Afterwards she was ready to go out for a night on the town, and appeared genuinely shocked to see the room she entered filled with family and friends. Beyoncé led party goers in singing “Happy Birthday” to her mother. She even proved she’s more like us than we thought by being unable to resist posing in the custom photo booth. Kim Whitley, Angela Bassett, Octavia Spencer, Boris Kodjoe and Courtney B Vance, along with jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, stylist Ty Hunter and singers Chloe and Halle, were also there to celebrate the woman without whom we would not have the gift of Beyoncé and Solange. “I am almost impossible to fool so my wonderful hubby Richard did an amazing job of keeping this party a secret that’s major,” Knowles Lawson wrote of her surprise party. “We. Pulled. This. Sh-t. Off,” Lawson yelled into the microphone in one video. “Everybody I love is in this room. So thank you so much I love all of you,” the Knowles matriarch said later in the evening.
