All day, the internet’s been buzzing with details of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s engagement—some thought they wouldn’t reach this point. Perhaps, no one is more shocked than Wendy Williams.
The TV personality said on June 24th that if the couple gets married, she’ll “eat crow.” And today, she acknowledged she just may have to stick to her promise.
“I’ve always said that Kim and Kanye will never get married,” said Williams. “And I said, if they do get married, I will eat crow. Right here, on this show… I’m a woman of my word.” But there’s one stipulation, it must last 73 days. An obvious reference to Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.
Williams wants the crow prepared by someone like Wolfgang Puck or Bobby Flay. And she would like a lot of “hot sauce” to go along with it. Crow is known as a delicacy in Lithuania and is either boiled or prepared in a slow cooker.
Reminding her audience that an engagement is not a wedding, Williams added, “I guess all around I’m happy. Except about that crow thing. Congratulations!”
