Wendy Williams made sure to partake in “Hot Girl Summer” shenanigans during the five-week hiatus of her daytime talk show, and found herself a man in the process.
The talk show host revealed the news to her audience on Monday —her first day back after the break— getting teary when she told them that she wasn’t “in love” but she was off “the market.”
“I’m not on the market anymore. I’m not in love…but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about,” she said.
But the man who is getting Williams all giddy might not be who you think.
“Mother doesn’t deal with children,” she continued, referencing the 27-year-old Marc Tomblin that she was rumored to be dating earlier in the summer. “But it just so happens that I guess with my charm and wit I attract people of all ages…”
So who is the mystery man making her smile? Williams didn’t leave us hanging!
“You all think I’m messing around with a 27-year-old — 27-year-old boys, quite frankly, do find me very attractive. I get it,” she added. “But when it comes time for the comfort of a man, I need somebody in his 50s, too. And he’s got to work.”
“It helps that he’s a doctor,” she continued before indicating that she had said enough. “I’m not gonna say one more word. You’re not gonna blow this for me. He’s been married. His kids are in his 20s.”
“And yes he’s Black, she finished. “I know you’re wondering.”
Williams filed for divorce after 22 years of marriage earlier this year. In response to her divorce petition, TMZ claims her ex Kevin Hunter is asking for monthly alimony as well as child support for their 18-year-old son Kevin, Jr. The specific amount he is seeking has not been disclosed.
Okay, Wendy! We’re happy for you!
