Kelly Rowland is writing a new book on motherhood and we’re totally here for it.
Titled Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened), the book is supposed to help first-time mothers figure it all out.
The project was penned by Rowland, alongside OBGYN Tristan Emily Bickman. The book is slated for release on March 28, 2017 and will be published by Da Capo Lifelong Books.
The former Destiny’s Child singer pulled from her own experiences with her now 2-year-old son, Titan. Rowland herself was frightened by what a baby had done to her body, mind and emotions.

“Dr. Bickman and I wanted to create an answer to what to expect after childbirth. No one told me what to expect physically, emotionally, or mentally,” says Rowland in her press release. “The purpose of Whoa, Baby! is to comfort the mother and give her knowledge of what’s going on with her. We cover everything!”
“It was just necessary,” she told Rolling Stone earlier this year when first asked about the book.
“I saw one part of something and I didn’t see the next part, and I wanted to be the one to provide the information. So, my goal in my life is whenever I do these business ventures, I like to collaborate with women, so for my book, I’m actually working with my doctor. I’m very, very excited.”
We can’t wait to read it!
