Whoopi Goldberg is still recovering from pneumonia and has yet to return to her co-hosting duties on The View.
The show’s Instagram shared an update on their Instagram about Goldberg, who has been out with the illness since Feb. 6.
“Sending good vibes to this lady!,” the show captioned a photo of Whoopi. “She’s on the mend recovering from pneumonia and we look forward to having her back at [The View] table soon!”
Co-host Joy Behar acknowledged Goldberg’s absence during the Feb. 20 show, saying that the Oscar winner was recovering well. Behar also debunked the rumors that Goldberg was MIA because she was preparing to host the Academy Awards.

“She’s not feeling well,” Behar, 76, said during the broadcast. “She’s actually recovering from pneumonia. I saw her last night and she’s very funny still, and we had big laughs. She’s getting there, she’s on the mend.”
