A Chicago woman has been hospitalized for sexual assault at what she thought was the building once occupied by R. Kelly, local news is reporting.
The woman, whose name has not been released, claimed to have been raped by three men who picked her up at a bar, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. They then took her back to what she believes was the infamous former studio used by R. Kelly, and that is where the assault occurred. She was then thrown out the back door.
She was picked up by local authorities a few blocks away at 3:54 a.m. and taken to hospital where she was treated for sexual assault.
The Grammy-winning star, who is currently facing 18 charges for sexually abusing four women, vacated the building in February after a judge placed a strict curfew on the use of the premises.
Before vacating the building, R. Kelly was accused of illegally using the studio as a living space and he was hit with 66 building code violations.
