Zoe Saldana is helping the love of her life ring in another year in a very special and adorable way.
The actress enlisted the help of their three baby boys to wish her husband, Marco Perego, a happy birthday.
Saldana shared a sweet photo of the couple together in the kitchen along with their twins, Bowie and Cy and youngest son, Zen. A framed photo collage appears in the middle with a sweet sentiment for the Italian artist.
“Buon Compleanno Amore Nostro. Grazie per la vita che chi dai,” she wrote in the caption which translates from Italian as “Happy Birthday Our Love. Thanks for the life that you give.”
The 39-year-old and Perego began dating in 2013 and in July of the same year, the two secretly tied the knot in London.
The couple welcomed their twins in November 2014 and 1-year-old Zen joined their adorable family in December 2016.
In February, it was announced that the actress would launch her own digital platform called BESE to inspire the Latinx community with untold stories. Saldana told E! News that her children were the reason for the creative site.
“…Now that I’ve become a mother and knowing the social climate that we’ve found ourselves in, especially within the last three or four years. And what that means for my son and once they start relating to media and the nation. I want America to be worthy of my sons,” she explained to E! News.
She then went on to explain that the life she envisions for her sons is one in which they have agency over who they are and how they define themselves.”I don’t want my sons to be put into boxes that they didn’t create for themselves and that they don’t want in their lives,” she continued.
