Most notably known for her role as Angela Moore in the 1990s and early aughts sitcom Boy Meets World, actress Trina McGee had us glued to our televisions. McGee’s style as Angela on the show included baggy silhouettes like many of the cast members, but often blended with feminine touches of dainty tops, accessories like hoop earrings, and small bags. The 2000s were rampant with these stylish pieces.
On the red carpet, McGee’s style is a bit more experimental and much more feminine. One example is when she wore tie tops like the burgundy one she wore to the Blue Crush movie premiere in Universal City, California in 2002. Along with this navel-revealing top, she wore a denim skirt with lace-up details and brown suede boots with a slightly pointed toe. To accessorize she added a belt over her skirt, although there were no belt loops; she made it a statement. Lastly, she held a small black clutch.
McGee’s looks on and off the screen were mesmerizing, she always seemed to know what pieces to put together without her outfits ever looking like too much thought was put into them. Maybe it’s an early aughts technique, either way, we’ve been thinking about this look and wanted to share for you to recreate this summer for nights out with the girls or just hot girl activities in general.
