Puerto Rico, Texas, Florida, and the Caribbean are still reeling from recent hurricanes.
Celebs have donated to relief efforts in Houston, TX and Puerto Rico, where residents have severely limited access to communication. Now, the organizers behind Hip Hop 4 Haiti and Hip Hop 4 Flint are teaming up again to assist with hurricane relief.
YoNasda Lonewolf, founder of the organization, has teamed up with national and local partners for Hip Hop 4 The People: Hurricane Relief, in which cities across the country will host fundraisers for hurricane relief in Houston, the Caribbean, and Florida.
All cities will be going live with the event on Sept. 30 with the exception of Newark, NJ, which will host a two-day event starting Sept. 29.
Media and hip hop personalities like MC Lyte, Styles P, and YG are working with the organization and various entertainers have teamed up with different cities.
You can find updates on the event at Hip Hop 4 The People’s Instagram and website.
