Yes, Essence Festival is a celebration of Black Girl Magic…but we surely didn’t mind all the man candy we were seeing throughout the weekend. There’s nothing, and I mean nothing, more irresistible than a fine Black man. Rest assured, there was no shortage of that in New Orleans this weekend. From the bearded baes walking the convention center to the shirtless “Netflix Is A Joke” tenderonis that hit the stage at Essence After Dark: y’all did that.
