Music lovers are getting a dose of the summer courtesy of none other than R&B crooner, Lloyd.
Back to heat up the airwaves once again, Lloyd is doing what he does best with a sensual new single titled, ‘Caramel.’ The melodic slow jam hears the talented singer-songwriter serenade listeners while boasting about enjoying the company of a beautiful woman in his life whom he hopes to one day make his wife.
“Caramel, dripping in my bed. Yeah you know, what’s going through my head,” he sings on the song’s chorus. “I’m thinkin’ bout, getting with you tonight, wifin’ you up for life.”
Early fans of the 32-year-old entertainer will recognize Lloyd’s signature sound that helped first propel him to stardom in the early 2000s, while new listeners will surely be adding the seductive new single to their playlists in no time.
“Caramel” follows the success of his 2016’s platinum-selling single, “Tru,” and precedes Lloyd’s long-awaited fifth studio album, TRU, which is slated for release on August 31. You can pre-order the album HERE.
A proud New Orleans native and new father, Lloyd recently performed the song live for the first time at the 2018 ESSENCE Festival before a packed crowd, before later introducing the world to his son, in what proved to be a true highlight of the Festival weekend.
