Thursday night was an evening to remember as ESSENCE honored music pioneer, Missy Elliott.
In addition to performances from Leikeli47 and Rapsody, Elliott was surprised by Janet Jackson, leaving the audience in shambles. Good music, laughter, memories, Black girl magic and tasty cocktails made for a perfect night— and it all was captured on social media.
