50 Cent is teasing a new spin-off from his hit show Power — and it looks like it will be centered on his popular character that we love to hate, Kanan.
The rapper took to his Instagram to announce that his evil character will be getting his own prequel spinoff.
“My Power spin-off is so crazy I’m doing the prequel. Wait till you see this sh*t, TGE influence (The Golden Era) Southside we outside 1988. Boom,” he wrote on Instagram. “If you guys think Kanan was crazy, wait till you meet the guys he came up under.”

It was only announced last week that Power creator, Courtney Kemp, had signed on to develop more series for Starz through her company End of Episode, including spin-offs of the popular crime drama she developed alongside 50 Cent.
“I’m incredibly proud of the success we’ve had with Power, and I’m excited about expanding our banner and diversifying the types of stories we’re telling,” said Kemp in a statement.
50 Cent also signed his own four-year deal to develop premium content for the growing cable channel through his production company, G-Unit Film & Television.
“When I sat down with Chris and walked him through my plans for G-Unit Film & Television going forward, he let me know I was essentially requesting the biggest deal in premium cable history,” he said.
We can’t wait to see Kanan back in action.
