A new month means new titles!
Streaming services across the web are upping their inventory with must-see titles that will make staying in over the weekend much more entertaining.
Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and more are dropping films and shows that you won’t want to miss. Here’s what to add to your watchlist in April.

The Fifth Element – 4/1 (Netflix)
The Fifth Element is a classic sci-fi adventure and if you thought we’d miss an opportunity to post a still of Chris Tucker in one of his most iconic roles, well, think again.

Blade – 4/1 (Amazon)
Many forget that Marvel’s first successful commercial film was Wesley Snipe’s Blade, which catapulted the actor into a lane all his own. In April, watch Snipes kick some vampire ass in the Marvel movie that started it all.

Blade II – 4/1 (Amazon)
Wesley Snipes returns in Blade II to face off against a new enemy, Reinhardt (Ron Pearlman, a member of the Bloodpack with a grudge against Blade). Of course—SPOILER ALERT—Reinhardt meets a pretty nasty end.

Blade: Trinity – 4/1 (Amazon)
The final film in the Blade trilogy, Blade: Trinity sees our hero facing off against an enemy that’s as cunning and strong as he is. And, while Trinity gives us a satisfying ending to the trilogy, Wesley Snipes has hinted that he’d be open to picking up the role again.

Beverly Hills Cop II – 4/1 (Amazon)
Eddie Murphy returns as detective Axel Foley in this 1987 sequel to Beverly Hills Cop, this time focusing on a gang of robbers who love to leave behind monogrammed envelopes with alphabetical sequences.

House Party – 4/4 (UMC)
Urban Movie Channel (UMC) has a few things up their sleeves this month, kicking off April with House Party, which will arrive just in time for the weekend.

The party continues with House Party 2, a sequel that actually keeps up with the original.

Wrestle – 4/9 (Kanopy)
This coming-of-age documentary follows four high school wrestlers at Huntsville’s J.O. Johnson High School, a school on Alabama’s list of failing schools, as they strive to reach the championships while dealing with issues off the mat.

Tyrel – 4/11 (Hulu)
Hulu is adding Tyrel, the Jason Mitchell-led drama, to its lineup in April. The film follows Tyler (Mitchell), the sole Black man on a weekend trip to the Catskills, as his world turns upside down when a weekend of drunken debauchery turns into a nightmare.
DeWanda Wise stars alongside Lakeith Stanfield, Gina Rodriguez, and Brittany Snow in this comedy about a woman (Rodriguez) who turns to her best friends for one last adventure in New York City before she moves across the country.

Grass Is Greener – 4/20 (Netflix)
As cannabis continues to be a hot issue, this upcoming doc explores America’s messy history with the controversial plant. Taking a look at everything from its role in pop culture to the war on drugs, Grass Is Greener will take viewers for rocky, informative ride.

ReMastered: Devil at the Crossroads – 4/26 (Netflix)
ReMastered returns with a new episode next month, this time telling the story of Robert Johnson, one of music’s most influential blues guitarists, exploring his life, music, and rumors that he made a pact with the Devil.
