A sixth season of Basketball Wives is upon us and this time, Evelyn Lozada is joining the cast of Los Angeles.
In a super trailer released this week, the former shoe boutique owner works on mending her relationship with Tami Roman after years of arguments and fights. The issues stemmed from Lozada having a relationship with Tami’s ex-husband Kenny Anderson, while they were still married in the early 2000s.
“I’ve never messed around with a married man,” Lozada says in the trailer, “And I never want to have that label.”
But the bigger beef appears to be between the cast of L.A. and the Miami, who eventually partner up against each other.
As reported by VH1, Evelyn’s not the only one who has beef with Tami — Jackie Christie is showing a whole other side as she gets up in Tami’s face not once, but twice. Fortunately for Mrs. Christie, her Cali gals Malaysia Pargo and Brandi Maxiell are back in the mix. But will they clash with the Miami girls, once and for all?
Also joining the cast is Nick Young’s baby mother Keonna Green, Dwyane Wade’s baby mother Aja Metoyer, Bonnie-Jill Laflin and Elena Ahanzadeh who all have either business or personal ties to the NBA.
Created and executive produced by Shaunie O’Neal, season six of Basketball Wives premieres April 17 at 9/8c on VH1.
