We should’ve known that ABC’s live revival of The Jeffersons was going to be amazing when it started with Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson singing the show’s iconic theme song, “Movin’ On Up.”
ABC’s Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s All in the Family and The Jeffersons not only starred Jamie Foxx, who flubbed one of his lines, hilariously recovering, but also featured Anthony Anderson, Wanda Sykes, Jackee Harry and saw a surprise appearance from original Jeffersons‘ cast member, Marla Gibbs.
Behind-the-scenes however seemed like tons of throwback fun. Hudson, Sean Hayes and other stars snapped photos, sharing them on social media, so fans could get in on all the fun on set.
