Rappers Cardi B and Drake took home awards Thursday night during the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which was hosted by none other than T-Pain.
Cardi picked up the award for Best Collaboration for “Finesse (Remix)” with Bruno Mars, and Hip Hop Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, Drake won Male Artist of the Year and Hip Hop Song of the Year for “God’s Plan.”
Neither star was in attendance, but Cardi B appeared via video to accept her award, telling fans, “I’m sorry, iHeartRadio, that I couldn’t make it … I was busy doing a couple things, but I just want to say thank you so much to all my fans, to all my supporters and to all my haters.”
“You know, I gotta thank my haters, you know what I’m saying,” she continued. “‘Cause y’all be saying mean things and y’all be thinking that those mean things is gonna discourage me, but that just makes me go harder. Cause if everybody gives me compliments, then I get comfortable.”
Also during the ceremony, Alicia Keys, Ella Mai and John Legend performed. Here’s a look at their performances:
