Ciara has dropped the visuals for her latest track “Dose” — and it looks like the singer is taking it all the way back to her roots in Atlanta.
In another choreography-heavy video, Cici goes back to the Southern mecca, a place she says shaped her as an artist, to give us a pep rally-inspired video for the empowerment anthem.
The video comes days after the “Level Up” singer killed the stage at the 2018 American Music Awards.
“Anything can happen in the streets of Atlanta. Atlanta is the place I call home,” says Ciara, who is sporting no makeup, at the start of the video.
“Atlanta is the place I spent most of my life growing up. Atlanta shaped me into me into being who I am as an artist.”
“And on this night, we decided to go out to the streets of Atlanta to gave them a dose,” she says of the video, which was apparently shot at 2 am on an Atlanta night.
On Instagram, Cici also celebrated the release by posting clips from the video.
“Too Much Fun. Feeling Like A Kid All Over Again,” she captioned one video. “Hit the streets, no makeup, and let that Lil Georgia girl in me come out.”
We can’t wait for the still-untitled album.
