Mike Will said earlier this year that he’s trying to reinvigorate the soundtrack — and bring it back to its glory years when songs on films mattered. “I approached the music by first watching Creed II and then creating a playlist of songs people could work out to, chill to, vibe to or to get them through any struggle which matched specific scenes in the movie,” the producer told Variety. “It’s important to show the new generation that soundtracks can be just as exciting as traditional albums if put in the hands of the right curator. After people hear the music, I want them to say movie soundtracks are back,” Mike added. It was announced earlier this month that the soundtrack to Creed II, out November 21, will be executive produced by Mike WiLL Made-It. Variety reports that he is set to collaborate with composer Lugwig Göransson and music supervisors Fam Rothstein and Jen Malone on music for the film.I hate when songs feel like it’s a reach , I hate when songs feel forced , I hate when songs or collaborations feel obvious, I hate when songs feel disjointed …
