Pharrell Williams has added more stars to an already stacked list of performers for his inaugural Something In The Water Festival, taking place this spring in his home state of Virginia.
Diddy, Usher, Gwen Stefani, and Snoop Dogg will also take the stage along with previously announced acts, such as Missy Elliott, Migos, SZA, Travis Scott, Janelle Monae, Pusha T and more.
They will all head to the shores of Virginia Beach, Virginia on April 26-28.
Fans will be able to enjoy a special screening of The Burial of Kojo along with a post-screening conversation, presented by Ava Duvernay’s ARRAY, her independent film distribution collaborative created to magnify the perspectives of independent filmmakers, especially those of color.
All the events work to fit the goal of the festival: to “unite the community and celebrate the diversity and magic of Virginia Beach,” Williams said in a statement.
“For the first time, we are harnessing that energy, bringing the great minds of our time and the biggest brands in the world to this great place, and letting the inspiration flow and well-deserved opportunities unfold,” the rapper and producer explained in a statement. “Virginia needs this right now and the world will see what we Virginians have known all along: there really is Something in the Water.”
