Jussie Smollett is not ashamed at all about proclaiming his love for Black women loudly and proudly.
Last week on ESSENCE’s Yes, Girl podcast the 34-year-old Empire star so wonderfully told hosts Cori Murray and Charli Penn about why he champions for us the way he does.
“And I love Black women,” he said openly beginning at the 51:00 minute-mark. “And I want to continue to say that and I want to continue to tell y’all. Y’all are the most important factors in this world and I keep saying regardless of who you fall in love with race or gender, if you cannot respect or appreciate all that a Black woman is, rethink your existence.”
The California native doesn’t stop there —he hilariously proclaims what should happen to those who aren’t here for the beauty of Black women and all we have to offer.
“Roll down a hill, in a chair, that you’re rolling your dumbass on,” Smollett told Murray and Penn to their amusement. “A hill in San Francisco that is very steep, that leads into the wharf, with cement on the bottom of your chair, where there are sharks in the wharf, that like to eat your stupid ass. That is all.”
Hilarious!
