As we wait for Power to return to TV, it has been announced that the sixth and final season will be released in two parts.
According to the network’s programming head Carmi Zlotnik, the first 10 episodes of the final season will air starting next month. The show will then take a break before returning in early 2020, Deadline confirms.
Starz announced back in May that the hit series, which stars Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, will come to a close with its sixth season aptly called “The Final Betrayal.” As Starz’s most most-watched and highest-rated show, the series averaged 10 million viewers per episode across platforms.
The official trailer for the final season dropped earlier his month while the cast was in attendance at Essence Festival.
The final season of Power debuts August 25 on Starz.
