Devout members of the BeyHive are aware of Beyoncé’s humble beginning in a group called Girls Tyme, which she headed with Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and LaTavia Roberson — her video for “Flawless” includes a snippet of Star Search footage that features the group.
Now, fans who may not be familiar with Bey’s earliest girl group can catch a glimpse of the singer bouncing around on stage in unreleased footage that’s up for auction.
Ted Owen & Co. is selling more than 2.5 hours of unaired Girls Tyme footage that feature baby Bey’s very first music video and the reigning queen of entertainment showing off enviable dance moves. It’s quite clear that Beyoncé was meant for the stage.

The auction house expects to get anywhere from £1.5 to £3 million for the footage. Bidding opened up in November and ends January 10. If you’re a huge Beyoncé fan, have that kind of money lying around, and want a piece of Bey history, then place your bids. Good luck!
