Released on January 4, ‘Freedom’ takes listeners through magical feeling of being in love without limitations. Starring actresses Tika Sumpter and Cynthia Erivo as an everyday couple navigating their way through love together, the video brings the song to life as the pair travel, party and enjoy each other’s company. Several brief moments also include strategic lighting that offers a subtle nod to the light and darkness often felt and associated with having to hide your love, versus being able to share it with the world.
