It’s no secret that singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss is serious about her business. The Xscape member has not only written a slew of R&B hits, but she also owns the intimate line, Bedroom Kandi, hosts the talk show Kandi Koated Nights, and appears on Bravo’s hit series, Real Housewives of Atlanta. Now, the busy entrepreneur is reportedly working on her next project, a reality TV show.
According to a report by celebrity blogger theJasmineBRAND, Burruss will produce a new series called Hotlanta, that will revolve around a group of movers and shakers in her hometown. The show, which sounds similar to RHOA, is in talks to feature Atlanta Housewives alum, Marlo Hampton.
While Hampton currently appears on RHOA, a source told theJasmineBRAND, “She’ll likely leave Housewives, especially since she’s never been an official cast member. Marlo will really get to shine.”
While there’s been no official word about the show just yet, Burruss isn’t expected to appear. Instead, she will executive produce Hotlanta and will remain on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, where the women of the Peach State are still pulling in millions of viewers after 10 seasons.
