Kevin Hart remains booked and busy!
The comedian is set to produce another comedy project, Don’t Call It a Comeback, that is currently being developed at ABC.
He is executive producing the project alongside Black-ish executive producer and writer Courtney Lilly, Variety reports.
Don’t Call It a Comeback follows a 40-year old divorced dad— who was a one-hit wonder in the ’90s— that is attempting at a comeback. In doing so, he tries “to get his swagger back in parenting, relationships and life and prove that no matter where you are, your best days are ahead of you.”
“Courtney’s idea is funny, relatable and most importantly has so much heart—all the elements that belong in a HartBeat production,” Hart said in a statement. “I’m so excited to work with him and everybody at ABC.”
With Don’t Call It a Comeback, Hart now has three projects in the works at three different TV networks. There is All Fancy in development at NBC, and Lil Kev, an animated comedy being developed at Fox.
Congrats to the Hart and Lilly!
