British actress Lashana Lynch will star in the Shonda Rhimes-produced Romeo & Juliet sequel titled Still Star-Crossed, reports IndieWire.
Based on the book by Melinda Taub, Still Star-Crossed is set in 16th century Verona and picks off right where Shakespeare’s original work ended chronicling the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate.

Written by Heather Mitchell, the screen adaption centers on Rosaline (played by Lynch), the beautiful, headstrong cousin of Juliet. Rosaline is taken in by Juliet’s parents and forced to work as a servant following her own parents’ death.
Still Star-Crossed will mark Lynch’s American TV premiere.
