Letitia Wright To Star In U.S. Remake Of French Comedy 'Le Brio' Produced by John Legend

The "Black Panther" actress will be starring in and executive producing the remake of this critically-acclaimed French comedic drama.

Black Panther’s Letitia Wright has been attached to star in and executive produce the U.S. remake of the French Cesar-nominated film, Le Brio, alongside John Legend as a producing partner. The original 2017 film “revolves around the relationship between a young French-Arab woman from an underprivileged neighborhood and a brilliant but prejudiced professor, who is forced to coach her for an annual speech contest,” Variety reports. Wright will work on production alongside French producer Dimitri Rassam and Legend’s Get Lifted Film Company. A director has yet to be attached.
