Calling all the stars to the set–Kelly Rowland, Meagan Good and Keri Hilson are ready for action in the new Lifetime original film, The 10th Date.
Good, Rowland and Hilson join actress Kellee Stewart to play four friends who try to balance their dating lives and career ambitions while working at an upscale website.
Rowland plays Margot, a journalist who finds herself attracted to a controversial reggae artist she is only supposed to interview but ultimately finds herself trying hard to fight the feelings she has for him. Hilson will take on the role of Billie who is at a crossroads in her marriage and is unsure of what to do next. Good and Stewart’s characters, Gabby and Nell, prepare for the challenge of finding “the one” and embark on a coveted “10th date” journey.
The 10th Date will explore the highs and lows of modern dating and relationships, romance and all of its requirements, juggle exes and friendships and find out all that goes into mastering the balance of love and life.
Along for the ride is UnREAL‘s Jefferey Bowyer-Chapman, Nell’s bisexual boyfriend and Tropic Thunder actor Brandon T. Jackson, a creative director at the website where the ladies work.
Written and directed by Nzingha Stewart, production for the Lifetime original project will begin Wednesday, September 7th until mid October in Los Angeles with an expectant premiere date to come in 2017.
