SPOILERS AHEAD!
On Sunday night’s episode of Game of Thrones, fans were finally treated to Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen’s meeting. Yes, Jon has made it to Dragonstone and finally crossed paths with the dragon queen.
However, the most epic encounter of the episode came at the end, when Jamie Lannister destroyed Olenna Tyrell’s army and poisoned the matriarch of House Tyrell, but not before Lady Olenna confessed that it was she who killed Joffrey. Her dying words were, “Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me.”

Lady Olenna has been a fan favorite since her first appearance on the show in season three. And, after last night’s episode where Lady Olenna showed us how a true badass goes down, many have compared her to Congresswoman Maxine Waters—two no-nonsense ladies reclaiming their time.
As we reported, during a Thursday House Financial Services Committee hearing, Waters used her Congressional right to reclaim her time when Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was pandering to waste time.
Olenna never put up with Joffrey’s crap and Maxine Waters refuses to deal with White male bureaucrats, who some could say is America’s very own Joffrey. Both women have not only taken on weak and powerful men, but aren’t afraid to to speak their mind when it comes to anything and everything.
We’ll miss Lady Olenna, the OG of Westeros, but hey, at least Grey Worm lives to see another episode.
