The nominees for the 2017 Golden Globes have been announced and many of our faves landed coveted spots.
Moonlight received tons of love, landing Best Original Screenplay and Best Motion Picture – Drama noms. Barry Jenkins also earned a nomination for Best Director, while Mahershala Ali received recognition for Best Supporting Actor.
When it comes to television, we’ll see many of our favorite celebs go head-to-head. Issa Rae and Tracee Ellis Ross are both nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series – Comedy/Musical for Insecure and Black-ish respectively.
Anthony Anderson and Donald Glover landed noms for Best Performance by an Actor in TV Series.
Black-ish and Atlanta will also compete for Best Television Series – Musical/Comedy.

Sterling K. Brown and Courtney B. Vance received love for their turns in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Thandie Newton earned a nomination for Westworld and Kerry Washington snagged one for her role in HBO’s Confirmation. See the full list of nominees here.
