Morris Chestnut has landed a role in TNT’s upcoming drama, Legends, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show, which is based on a book by Robert Littell, will follow a unique spy and FBI operative named Martin Odum, who has the ability transform into different people to get the case solve. However, things get murky when Odum’s own identity comes into question.
Chestnut will play Odum’s younger brother, Antonio “Tony” Cimarro, who is talented and in the FBI as well. But it seems their rivalry will get in the way of them solving crimes. Cimarro is not only good looking and athletic, he seems to be a little jealous of his older brother’s crime-solving gift.
The Best Man Holiday actor will join co-stars Ali Larter, Rob Mayes, Tina Majorino, Steve Harris, Amber Valletta and Lux Haney Jardine in the project.
Legends is scheduled to premiere in 2014.
