New photos and details have been released about Jordan Peele’s follow-up, Us.
Us tells the story of Gabe and Adelaide, a mother and father played by Black Panther’s Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke, who take their kids on a family trip to Adelaide’s old childhood beach house. Soon, the vacation becomes a nightmare when Adelaide becomes increasingly paranoid that something will happen to her family.
Entertainment Weekly shared new photos from the film on Thursday, one featuring a tattered Nyong’o and another of a spooky family in red.
The publication spoke to Peele and the film’s stars about what fans can expect from the film, and it seems that we’re all in for quite a ride.
Nyong’o, who plays Adelaide, told the publication that the film “taps into [Adelaide’s] deepest fears and ours as well — the idea that we might be our own worst enemies.”

While Duke described his character, Gabe, as “very sporadic and impulsive. He’s the husband and the alpha, and I think that leads to some of the conflict that is in the marriage when we meet the Wilsons.”
We’ll learn even more when the highly anticipated trailer hits the internet streets on Christmas day. Us hit theaters March 15, 2019.
