Happy Friday! We’ve made it to the end of the week, which means the weekend has arrived and so has another list of our favorite singles this week.
John Legend dropped a bit of Christmas cheer, while Noname released the official video for her single, “Blaxploitation.”
Plus, we included a few up-and-comers made our list as ones to watch.

1. John Legend – “Bring Me Love”
Legend dropped a cute animated lyric video this week for the single “Bring Me Love,” which appears on his new Christmas album A Legendary Christmas. 2. Noname – “Blaxploitation”
This week, Noname shared the first-ever music video for her single, “Blaxploitation, a single from her incredible sophomore album Room 25. The video follows a little Black boy who sees the city as a wonder and the people around him who see him as a threat.
3. MorMor – “Pass the Hours”
A new Canadian import, Toronto-based MorMor, real name Seth Nyquist, released “Pass the Hours” this week. The dreamy indie pop song feels light and airy.
4. Saba – “Papaya” (Feat. daedaePIVOT)
Teaming up with daedaePIVOT and featuring additional vocals from Ari Lennox, Saba’s “Papaya” rapping and singing about waiting for an unnamed love interest to return the feeling.
5. Closegood – “Omen”
Up-and-coming trans music duo Closegood, writers and producers Nyfe and Amada, have arrived with “Omen.” A collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer Anthony Kilhoffer, the single mixes poetry, R&B, and pop to create a new sound tinged with nostalgia. The video also sees Amada and Nyfe emerging from the ocean and taking a trippy walk along the beach.
6. OMI – “As Long As I’m With You”
Known for his global hit, “Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix),” OMI has returned with new single, “As Long As I’m With You,” featuring CMC$. The single stays true to the upbeat, summer-esque vibe OMI delivered with “Cheerleader,” paying homage to the many sides of love.
