Another week, another list of new singles.
This week’s list includes familiar faces like Nicki Minaj and Kelly Rowland, as well as up-and-comers like K. Roosevelt and Tiffany Gouché.
There’s also a new track from Saweetie that you’ll want to send to your haters and a Blood Orange remix that you want to put on repeat. Check out our full list below.
1. K. Roosevelt – “Feelings Don’t Change”
It’s been a busy year for up-and-comer K. Roosevelt, who signed to Def Jam’s lengthy roster earlier this year. The singer-songwriter shared the video for “Adrenaline” back in July and this week, he dropped the video for his latest single,”Feelings Don’t Change.”
2. Blood Orange – “Smoke Remix” ft. Yves Tumor and Ian Isiah
Teaming up with Ian Isiah and Yves Tumor, this week Blood Orange shared the remix to “Smoke.” The remixed track is a complete 180 from the original, folky version of the song that appears on the singer’s recent release, Negro Swan.
3. Kelly Rowland – “Kelly”
Her first major release since 2013’s Talk A Good Game, Rowland’s “Kelly” sees the singer owning her shine and flexing with lyrics like, “Kelly ain’t humble no more n—a, Kelly got a foot on your throat n—a.”
4. Tiffany Gouché ft. Maségo – “Good Girl”
Tiffany Gouché and Maségo have teamed up again. The pair worked together on Maségo’s “Queen Tings,” from his 2018 project Lady Lady, and now the two are back at it for Gouché’s “Good Girl.”
5. Spice – “Romantic Mood”
Dancehall queen Spice gives a nod to the ladies who came before her with her new video for “Romantic Mood. “I’m paying homage to the women who started Dancehall and paved the way for this era,” Spice told The Fader. “Althea and Donna, Sister Nancy, Sister Charmaine, Patra, Dawn Penn, Sasha, Marcia Griffiths, Lady Ann.”
6. Pauli The PSM – “One of Those Guys”
Having worked with FKA Twigs and Gorillaz, as well as drumming for Sampha’s band, Pauli The PSM has returned with more music of his own. This time, the multi-talented musician is reflecting on the lack of trust in a relationship with his new single, “One of Those Guys.”
7. Nicki Minaj ft. Lil Wayne – “Good Form”Nicki Minaj is still celebrating the release of her latest album, Queen, and she’s keeping the energy high with a new video for her twerk anthem,”Good Form.” The visual features Lil Wayne, with cameos from Lauren London, Evelyn Lozada, and Shaniece Hairston.
8. Saweetie – “Pissed”
Saweetie wants to know why you’re mad? The rapper flexes on her new song, “Pissed,” as she points out all the reasons why her haters might be jealous.
9. Kaytranada ft. Ty Dolla $ign – “Nothin Like U”
On Friday, Kaytranda released three new songs: “Chances,” “It Was Meant 2 B,” and “Nothin Like U,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. All three are worthy of a spin, but “Nothin’ Like U” is currently our fave.
