Porsha Williams has broken her silence regarding the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion fight. The former beauty queen sat down with Access Hollywood to open up about what made her snap and how her real life and the cameras clashed.
“Kenya, she looks at this as a job. It’s a show to her, its just entertainment,” said Williams. “She doesn’t take anything seriously…And so for her I’m like the complete opposite because here I am living this real life and her she is portraying one.”
Williams added that Moore may have called her scepter a prop, but she saw it as a weapon. “I see the wand…then I realize she’s using it as an extension of her arm, so I’m like ok cool as long as she doesn’t bring it over here, I’m fine…I saw the hate. I saw the anger. I saw all of that in Kenya’s eye that moment. And I felt threatened, honestly I did, it was a weapon.”
RHOA co-star Cynthia Bailey was right in the middle of the drama, and she took a different stance on the now infamous fight, saying that Porsha’s reaction was a matter of choice.
“Porsha was not attacked in my opinion, she was provoked,” Bailey said to E! News. “You have to make choices about how you want to deal with that. The reunion is provocative. We know why we’re there- we know there’s going to be hard questions. We know we’re going to be offended, insulted. We’re ready for all of that stuff, that’s what makes the show. But you fight with your words. And when you make another choice…then that’s your choice.”
