Power creator Courtney Kemp already has a new show up her sleeve.
Kemp, who recently signed a new overall deal with Lionsgate, is teaming up with HBO for a series on corrupt cops.
Dirty Thirty is a one-hour drama series based in New York City that’s loosely based on real-life rogue police officers who worked at NYPD’s 30th Precinct in the 90s.
Deadline reports that the series is described as “a story of a cop family and ends as the story of a crime wave infecting the highest levels of municipal government, corrupting the justice system and defining a city.”
Kemp is currently working on Power’s sixth season.
